This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit or order from this store, why we collect it, and what rights you have.

What we collect
Order data: name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, order contents and payment status.
Personalization data: the photo of the paw print and the pet name you upload for engraving.
Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, and cookie identifiers.
Why we use it
To process and ship your order and provide customer support (contract performance); to prevent fraud and meet accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation and legitimate interest); to measure and improve our store and, where you have consented, for marketing and advertising.
Who we share it with
Shopify (store and checkout platform), our payment providers, our production and fulfilment partner, and shipping carriers. Where you have consented to marketing cookies, analytics and advertising providers such as Meta and TikTok. Some of these providers process data outside Switzerland and the EEA; transfers are based on standard contractual clauses. We do not sell your personal data.
Personalization photos
Photos you upload are used only to produce your order and are deleted 90 days after your order is completed, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
How long we keep other data
Order and invoice records are kept for ten years, as Swiss accounting law requires. Other data is deleted when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict and port your data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To exercise these rights write to hello@foreverpaw.us. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or in the EU your national supervisory authority.
